What are you goals for your presidency this year?

My goals for presidency  are to make the most out of the situation at hand and have a great school year, not only for the seniors but for each and every student.

 

How do you feel about your leadership team?

I’m excited to work with my leadership team because I know all of them and what they are capable of bringing to the table. I can’t wait to get started and have a great school year. 

 

What kind of music do you like listening too?

I’m open to listening to all type of music, but my favorite genres are definitely hip hop and r&b. My favorite artist right now is Brent Faiyaz.

 

Who are your inspirations?

My brother is definitely an inspiration to me. He was the first male in my family to graduate high school and attend college. He has paved the way for me and I hope to be the first male in my family to attend a four-year university.

 

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is failure. That is why it is important to me to do everything to the best of my ability.

 

What motivates you to work hard?

My mom motivates me. She has done so much for me and I want to show her how much I appreciate her.

 

How would your friends describe you?

They would describe me as supportive, unpredictable, and honest.

 

What makes you laugh the most?

I will laugh 9 out of 10 thing thrown my way. From jokes to funny videos, anything can get a laugh out of me.

 

What is one thing you are really bad at?

I am really bad at skateboarding. I want to learn how to ride one, but every time I have tried, I have failed miserably. I'm not going to give up though; I will lean how to ride a skateboard soon. 

 

What is one thing you are really good at?

I'd like to think that I am a really good cook. My family might say otherwise but for all I know, I can be the next Gordon Ramsey. My favorite thing to make is any type of pasta.

 

What shows are you binge-watching?

I've never really been one to binge watch shows. I'm definitely more of a movie person, and my favorite movies include The Wolf of Wall St. and Shrek. 

 

What your favorite season?

My favorite season is summer.  Although it gets really hot here in Bakersfield, my birthday is in June and I love to swim whether it is in a pool or at a beach. 

 

Who are some of your favorite teachers?

I've had many great teachers at East High but my favorites include Mr. Delgado, Mr. O'Reilly, and Ms. Foy

 

What has been your favorite subject in school?

This year, my favorite subject has been Econ. I find the work interesting and my teacher, Mr. O'Reilly, goes above and beyond to make sure distance learning is as easy as possible.
