Michael, Alyse, and Joseph Gabaldon are not only siblings they are also each other’s biggest fans. Game day in the Gabaldon household means a chance to honor each other by showing their support on the field. When one of them has a game, the other two can often be found sporting their sibling’s jersey, or holding a large sign on the sideline. The proud Stockdale High School student athletes all feel that having support from each other in the crowd gives them the added push that they need at their games.
Joseph and Alyse’s favorite memory was watching their older brother Michael play in a football game against Bakersfield High School. The Mustangs defeated the Drillers, and Michael had an interception on the memorable night. "Having my brother on the sideline helping out, and my sister in the band cheering me on is my favorite memory," says Michael.
All three of the Gabaldon siblings also agree that the best part of attending the school together is always having someone there to support you, and have your back. Joseph, the youngest of the three, shared this advice for other siblings: "Don't act like you're too cool to hang with your siblings. Not everyone gets the chance to share the high school experience with their brother or sister."
